Marin Hinkle, Neal Huff and More Set for LCT3's World Premiere of Luce

Marin Hinkle, Neal Huff, Okieriete Onaodowan, Olivia Oguma and Sharon Washington will star in the world premiere of JC Lee’s drama Luce. Directed by May Adrales, the play will run at Lincoln Center Theater’s Claire Tow Theater from October 5 through November 17 as part of the company's LCT3 development series. Opening night is set for October 21.

When a teacher makes an alarming discovery about Luce (Onaodowan), an all-star high school student, his parents (Hinkle and Huff) are forced to reckon with their idealized image of their son, adopted years ago from a war-torn African country.

Hinkle is best known for her TV roles on Two and a Half Men, Deception, Brothers & Sisters, Once and Again and The Sarah Silverman Program. Her stage credits include Electra, A Thousand Clowns, The Tempest, Graceland, Miss Julie and Blue Window. Huff appeared with Hinkle in off-Broadway’s Blue Window and Broadway’s The Tempest. His other stage credits include Take Me Out, When I Come to Die, The Lion in Winter, Little Dog Laughed, The Foreigner. Huff's screen credits include Moonrise Kingdom, The Wire, Michael Clayton, Blue Bloods, Big Daddy, Hollywood Ending and Jack and Diane.

Onaodowan appeared on Broadway in Cyrano de Bergerac. He worked off-Broadway in Langston in Harlem, Sons of the Prophet, Neighbors and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. Oguma’s stage credits include High School Musical, Mamma Mia!, Les Miserables, Emotional Creature and A Christmas Carol. Washington’s stage credits include The Scottsboro Boys, Lost in the Stars, Wild with Happy, Stuff Happens, String of Pearls, Caucasian Chalk Circle and Miss Evers’ Boys.

Luce will feature sets by Timothy R. Mackabee, costumes by Kaye Voyce, lighting by Tyler Micoleau and sound by Jill BC Du Boff.

LCT3 is a programming initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists as well as developing new audiences.
